Dr. Roddy is able to place crowns in just one appointment! With CEREC®. Dr. Roddy will use strong, tooth colored ceramic material to restore your teeth.

What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are metal anchors surgically positioned in the jaw bone underneath the gums to support a crown where natural teeth are missing. Implants are usually made from a metal  called titanium which is readily accepted by the body. A small titanium screw is inserted into and fuses with the jawbone.  A post or "abutment" attaches to the implant, and a crown fits over the abutment. A phenomenon called osseointegration means that titanium is so compatible that bone attaches itself to the implant.

Please come to your first appointment 15 minutes early so that we may fill out the forms to start your record. If you would like, you may download the forms, fill them out and bring them with you.

When you come to our office, you are the boss.  Let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visits more comfortable.
